HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS CELEBRATION
(last year called "Christmas Eve-Eve Celebration")
WHERE: MCDOUGAL TERRACE PROJECTS
WHEN: DECEMBER 19TH (RAIN DATE 1-9-10)
TIME: 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.
We need help with the following items for kids: gifts wrapped such as basketballs, footballs, dolls, board games, etc.
For adults: We need to find donations of hams or turkeys. If anyone knows of possible contacts please contact us ASAP. We also want to put together bags of food for the families to take home. We need to begin collecting non perishables and can goods. We will need some volunteers to head this up.
We will be serving a meal (to be determined) and drinks (hot chocolate, coffee, sodas). We will need volunteers to bake cookies. If you have any other ideas please contact us (919) 381-5509 or (919) 900-0220. E-mail: pastorterry@nc.rr.com or eileenshuff@nc.rr.com
The ministry is also in need of a couple items: We need 5 roaster ovens, WalMart has them on sale right now for $22.00. If you would be interested in making a donation we can pick them up.
We are also in need of 8 white plastic tables (6 ft.). I do not know the cheapest place to get them. I will put out updates as we get help with these items.
